Located in Janatas, Jambyl Region, the project entails the construction of a large-scale soda ash production facility, with an annual capacity of 500,000 metric tons. It includes supporting infrastructure such as a process production area, brine extraction area, limestone mining area and residential zone. CAMCE is responsible for the design, procurement, construction and commissioning services of the project.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Yildirim, chairman and CEO of CoreX Holding — the parent company of Kazakhstan Soda Company — commended CAMCE's professional expertise and dedication, expressing confidence in the smooth progress and on-time completion of the second-phase project.
Li Haixin, general manager of CAMCE, thanked CoreX Holding for its trust and support. He emphasized that the company would continue to leverage its strengths in international operations, local management, resource integration and industrial output to make the project a benchmark for trilateral cooperation among China, Kazakhstan and Turkiye under the Belt and Road Initiative.

As one of the first Chinese enterprises to "go global" following reform and opening-up, CAMCE remains committed to the principle of green development — embracing green design, green engineering, green manufacturing and green industry. In recent years, the company has steadily expanded its footprint in Central Asia, particularly in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, delivering major projects including soda ash and PVC plants, the Olympic City complex and government buildings.
Looking ahead, CAMCE will continue to draw on the strong R&D capacity and industrial foundation of Sinomach Group, combining China's industrial development experience with local needs. The company is committed to advancing mutually beneficial projects, supporting industrial transformation and contributing to the economic modernization of Central Asia — further strengthening the vision of a China-Central Asia community with a shared future.
