At the recent Intersolar Europe 2025, a leading global event in the photovoltaic industry, Phono Solar — an energy brand under Sinomach's SUMEC Energy — successfully signed two photovoltaic carport project agreements with a total capacity of 116 MW. Meanwhile, Phono's photovoltaic modules officially passed the UVID test conducted by TÜV SÜD, earning the corresponding certification.

The agreements were signed with a well-known German EPC company and a German carport project development firm. Under the strategic cooperation framework agreement with the latter, the 100 MW photovoltaic carport project will focus on automotive logistics.

Once the first phase is completed, the project is expected to generate over 100 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually—equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions from coal-fired power generation by approximately 80,000 tons.

Photovoltaic carport solutions represent a core application scenario of Phono Solar's "Distributed Energy+" strategy. These two newly signed projects not only highlight the strong technical recognition of Phono's products but also reflect growing trust from European partners in its integrated service capabilities, reinforcing its leadership in photovoltaic and energy storage integration.

In parallel, Phono modules passed the UVID (UV-Induced Degradation) test administered by TÜV SÜD. The UVID test is a key benchmark for evaluating long-term performance degradation of photovoltaic modules under intense ultraviolet exposure. Under the UVID220 protocol — where UV intensity exceeds conventional standards by several times — Phono modules showed an impressively low energy attenuation rate of just 0.15%, indicating excellent durability and performance.

Successfully passing the UVID test further validates the technical strength and product quality of Phono modules, further boosting their competitive standing in the global photovoltaic supply chain.

Looking ahead, SUMEC will remain committed to its pursuit of green development, deepening its presence in the clean energy sector. With a focus on technological advancement and high-quality standards, SUMEC aims to enhance its product, engineering, and service integration capabilities — delivering comprehensive, full life-cycle clean energy solutions to customers worldwide. The company will continue to make its contribution to the global reach of Chinese brands through professional innovation and sustainable growth.
