Foundation stone laid for 3D printing affordable housing project in Bahrain
The foundation stone for the 3D printing affordable housing project, a collaboration between China National Electric Engineering Co (CNEEC) and Diyar Al Muharraq real estate, was recently laid in Bahrain. The ceremony was attended by Ni Ruchi, Chinese ambassador to Bahrain; Abdulhakeem Yaqoob Al Khayyat, chairman of Diyar Al Muharraq; Ahmed Ali Alammadi, CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq; and Ge Jian, deputy general manager of CNEEC.
The project highlights the innovative application of Chinese 3D printing construction technology and marks a milestone in economic and trade cooperation between China and Bahrain. The initiative aims to build 5,000 affordable housing units, showcasing the potential of 3D printing technology in addressing housing needs.
First substation of Bangladesh World Bank project successfully delivered
The Bangladesh World Bank substation project, undertaken by CNEEC, achieved a key milestone with the successful delivery of the Muradnagar 132kV/33kV GIS substation. This development enhances the local power supply network and serves as a significant step forward in the project’s progress.
The delivery of this substation establishes a strong foundation for the installation and commissioning of subsequent substations. It also provides valuable experience for future construction and handovers. Moving forward, the project team remains committed to optimizing processes, ensuring quality, and meeting deadlines to complete all substations smoothly.
