Cameroonian Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute and National Assembly Speaker Cavayé Yéguié Djibril attended the ceremony, where the Sixth Design and Research Institute was awarded a medal of honor. The event received coverage from major media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency and Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV).
The project is situated in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon, covering a total construction area of approximately 37,500 square meters. It significantly improves the office facilities of the Cameroon National Assembly, enhancing the efficiency of modern government operations.
During the project design phase, the Sixth Design and Research Institute of Mechanical Industry's team skillfully integrated the new construction with the existing structure through a sloping roof frame porch design. This approach reflected Yaoundé's identity as the "City of Seven Hills" and created a semi-outdoor space, aptly described as an "urban meeting room". The innovative design and unique architecture have transformed the building into a prominent urban landmark in the capital city.
