Nicaragua: export and installation of complete dredger systems
China CAMC Engineering Co (CAMC), a subsidiary of CMEC, has signed a contract with the Nicaraguan Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to export and install complete dredger systems. The project encompasses dredgers, auxiliary workboats, and pipelines aimed at mitigating sedimentation in the San Juan River basin. This improves navigation efficiency, and bolsters the local fishing industry.
Algeria: construction begins on bulk carrier loading system
Construction has officially commenced on Algeria's bulk carrier loading mobile tire loader installation project, undertaken by SINOCONST. This marks Algeria's first installation of a high-capacity (2000t/h) mobile tire loader. The project spans four major ports, including the installation and commissioning of systems for loading materials such as slag and salt and is recognized as a key infrastructure project in Algeria.
