AE Corp. to build a final assembly transmission line for Scania in Nantong

A final assembly transmission line project for Swedish Scania Group was recently launched by Automotive Engineering Corporation (AE Corp.), a subsidiary of Sinomach, in Nantong, a city of East China's Jiangsu province.

The ceremony was attended by Lars Eriksson, director of the Scania's cab assembly project, Astrom Christian, manager of the final assembly department, cab workshop project team of Scania and project team of the AE Corp.

The Nantong-based plant is the first new intelligent facility planned by Scania in Asia and the third vehicle plant established worldwide by the group over the past century. This project holds immense strategic significance for Scania.

The AE Corp. is responsible for the supplies of such products as main cab assembly line, door line and chassis line. Personnel from the two sides have engaged in close collaboration and outstandingly accomplished the design, manufacturing and factory testing phases, laying a solid foundation for the project’s successful construction.

In the next step, the AE Corp. will firmly adhere to the guiding principles of innovation, transformation, quality and efficiency improvement, and systematic growth for its major work in this year, and endeavor to deliver high-quality services to its customers with high professionalism, outstanding work efficiency and dedicated spirit.
