Ma said that as a state-level agricultural mechanization research institution, the CAAMS is dedicated to the research, development and promotion of agricultural machinery technology. The research body has accumulated advanced technologies and rich experience in a wide range of fields like food and oil processing, facility breeding, organic waste treatment and smart agriculture.

Ma emphasized that the CAAMS will firmly grasp this opportunity to further promote pragmatic cooperation between the two sides, strengthen mutual trust, deepen bilateral friendship, and make higher contributions to helping Liberia raise the efficiency of agricultural production and ensure food security.

Nuetah conveyed thanks to the CAAMS for its long-term support to the development of agricultural affairs in Africa. He said that Libera will leverage China's rice plantation technology, the promotion and application of agricultural machinery, and the processing of agricultural products to further improve its food self-sufficiency and assist its farmers in combating poverty and increasing their income, hoping that the visit will also deepen and expand bilateral cooperation to advance Liberia's agricultural modernization.

At the witness of both Ma and Nuetah, the CAAMS and the Liberian Ministry of Agriculture signed a memorandum of cooperation on June 21 to forge closer ties and promote sustainable development between the two sides in rice, coffee, cocoa, potato and other agricultural sectors. The Liberian Ambassador to China attended the signing ceremony as well.
