SUMEC Phono gains EPD assessment in three European countries

SUMEC Phono, a renowned player in the renewable energy sector of Sinomach, recently passed the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) assessment for its products and got EPD-related registration in Norway, Italy, and Sweden.

It has marked another milestone made by SUMEC Phono in the development of the green energy, indicating that its product quality and environmental attributes have received high recognition from authoritative international institutions. The latest achievement has also demonstrated the company's technical strength and brand reputation in such fields as low-carbon and green sector, and intelligent manufacturing.

There are rising calls from the international community and people from all social sectors about information disclosure concerning carbon consumption as it has become heated topics about global climate warming and ESG sustainable development. The EPD is a report with international recognition verified and published by the third parties on the basis of the ISO 14025 "Environmental Labels and Declarations – Type-III Environmental Declarations – Principles and Procedures".

It is also built on the basis of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to conduct appraisal and disclosure of environmental assessment brought by the acquisition, production, transportation, installation and final disposal of raw materials associated with photovoltaic products.
