Undertaken by China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, the Masrik solar project is a transformative initiative aimed at establishing a state-of-the-art 55MWac (62.09MWdc) PV power station. Beyond the power station itself, the project encompasses the construction of a 110kV substation, a 110kV metering station, and an approximately 10-kilometer-long transmission line, which will serve to connect the substation to the grid connection point. Once operational, the project is poised to significantly contribute to the advancement of local green energy, playing a crucial role in the nation's sustainable energy landscape.

The successful installation of the main transformer not only represents a major step forward for the Masrik solar project but also underscores the unwavering commitment of Sinomach and its subsidiary, CMEC, to bolstering Armenia's renewable energy infrastructure. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and expertise of the project team, as well as the collaborative efforts of all involved stakeholders.

As the Masrik solar project progresses, it is expected to play a pivotal role in fostering sustainable energy practices and furthering the nation's green energy objectives. This initiative stands as a testament to the potential for solar energy to drive positive change in Armenia's energy mix and to contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and the promotion of a cleaner, more sustainable future.
