The Key Technology for the Lightweight Green Manufacturing of Heavy Pressure Vessels, developed by HGMRI, has accelerated the progress of green manufacturing technology in China's pressure vessel industry, and has made China one of advanced countries in the lightweight design and manufacturing of pressure vessels.

The HGMRI Hydrogen Cycle Fatigue Test System, first developed in China, can withstand hydrogen pressure of up to 140 mega pascals (MPa), and plays an important role in guaranteeing the safe, independent and controllable industrial chain and supply chain of technical equipment for hydrogen energy storage and transportation in China, facilitating the country's carbon peaking and neutrality goals.

The application of an environmentally friendly refrigerant, which was researched and developed by HGMRI, plays a vital role in the fulfillment of international environmental protection conventions by the country and the industry. It has also been commended by the United Nations, the World Bank and other renowned institutions.

The HGMRI-developed manufacturing technology of cyclone enhanced heat exchangers has fundamentally eliminated the hidden danger and adverse effects caused by heat exchangers, such as threaded locking ring types and shell-and-plate types, with the devices' safe and green operation, stepping up the technological progress of the energy and chemical industry.

The high-efficiency energy saving and environment-friendly air blower, a product of HGMRI, has greatly increased the yield and efficiency of related industries, and as well having helped them to save energy and cut greenhouse gas emissions.

HGMRI has also explored more efficient and energy saving technology for separators, and a resource extraction and recovery project through separators, as part of its push to reduce emissions and the impact on the environment.

The Key Technology for the Green Manufacturing of Cold Water (Heat Pump) Units, developed by HGMRI, has been applied to the industry's production, and has improved the resource utilization efficiency and environmental protection benefits of cold water (heat pump) units, laying a foundation for the industrialization of green manufacturing products and promoting the technological progress of the industry.
